This neighborhood is super special to me because it's the first place I called "home' in Maryland. My husband bought a condo in this complex in 2012 and we still hold it as a rental property. We LOVE the easy access to all of North Bethesda's best shopping and dining and the convenient closeness to the Grosvenor Metro (red line) and all of the area's major highways and commuter routes. Another thing we love about the Gables is that the sprawling well-landscaped and well-lit community lends itself to being a great spot for animal lovers. We used to walk our dog along the Bethesda Trolley Trail, which connects at one end of the community. We also really enjoyed spending summers enjoying the pool and it was the best way to meet neighbors! The Gables also has a very active social committee and you can enjoy events such as the annual Ice Cream Social I host, Wine Down Wednesdays, our famous Holiday Party and cookie exchange in December and more. There is an onsite management office and a full time maintenance staff that takes care of the property grounds and building exteriors. The community also features tennis & pickle ball courts, a fitness center and an indoor racquetball court.
